This was my 2nd time coming in and it was fantastic again! The cake was fresh and delicious. Very generous serving for the price. The service is always exceptional and she made the visit even sweeter!! Will definitely be coming back again.
I've only been here once but had a great experience. I went here with a group of about 10 people to celebrate a birthday. Called a few days ahead to see if they would have space for us. They said they would set up for us and even offered to stay open late (which we didn't need, but I thought it was very generous of them to offer!) When we got there they had pulled some tables together to make enough space for us. The space had a very cozy and classy feel. The cakes were so decadent and yummy. I don't drink coffee but I got a steamer and it was great; it sounded like others enjoyed their drinks as well. The owners were very kind and friendly and willing to go out of their way to make sure everyone had a good experience. Such a nice place! A little hard to find parking but I'm so glad we went.
What an amazing cafe! The service was excellent. The cake was phenomenal. The coffee was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect for a quiet conversation. We will absolutely return in the future!
If you haven’t stopped in here yet, you should. What an awesome desert and coffee house. First the lady that helped us answered questions and was able to give recommendations all while being super chill. This really set the mood for a relaxing desert. The deserts were delicious! If you want to satisfy that sweet tooth, you can do that here. The atmosphere in this cozy place is really relaxed as well.
The Double Dare cake is amazing, and we also love the rum balls. Staff is always kind and helpful. We have been visiting them for many years when they were previously known as “Pastry Castle”, and they have always been consistently very good!
This place was a pleasant surprise. We had a show at the RWB and while we were waiting we ordered a latte, cappuccino and a cake. The coffee was delicious and the cake was super fresh and delicious. It was a little late when a took the pictures
We ordered a chocolate cake - it was very tasty, and the portion was gigantic, so we took one piece for two. A very friendly lady behind the counter served us quickly and with a smile, advised us what to order. Also, this cafe has a pleasant atmosphere.
The coffee here is amazing. The friendliness of the service is even better. I would highly recommend stopping in for a treat if you are in the area. In the cold downtown core, this local cafe is far and away a better experience than the dirty dreary Tim Horton's in the area. As an added bonus, you will be supporting a local, caring business owner.
